After several weeks of trying to raise awareness of the disaster it would be to elect Donald Trump as the president of the USA, I have changed my mind.
I will now support Trump and cheer on him from abroad – hoping he will hit a Home Run next week.
I will support him precisely because it will be a disaster. It will set the effort to curtail global warming back decades when he pulls the US support for the Paris Agreement. Trump is notoriously anti-science and pro-conspiracies and conveniently believes climate change to be a hoax. I believe global warming is the single most important issue facing the Earth for the next century. And we cannot fail in our efforts to not fuck up our planet.
But, it’s better to fail hard and fast than to fail in ten years when the crisis is even tougher. And I don’t believe we can afford not to fail now. We must let Trump win so that he can fail in public so that the US can learn fast – and then join in with other nations that want to pull our weight together. The alternative is worse – having 150 million disaffected Americans sulking and bitching for the next 4 years.
Shielding the US from Muslims, Mexicans, Syrian refugees (which is largely due to the US intervention in the Middle East), free trade and everything Mr. Trump doesn’t like is certainly not the way forward. But no amount of rhetoric, persuasion or facts will convince Trump supporters that we need to pull together. The egoism runs too deep. He needs to wreck havoc in order for people to understand that this right wing lunacy is a dead end.
I believe in failing. And learning. It’s core to my coaching of athletes, executives and artists. US needs to learn. Since the world has never been socially better off than now, we should afford 4 years of crazy shit to accommodate for better decades to come.
It apparently wasn’t enough for Bush to fail, he’s simply been written off later as “part of the establishment”. We need another fast and solid failure.

Whatever truth there may have been to that as the years went on, it was not his world view in the early years. The scale you posted at that link was expanded in *Science of Survival* to include Liberal at 3.5:

That’s the highest the scale goes – 3.5. Perhaps if Integral Theory had been around in those years, he would have been placed it at 4.0, since it takes the most pandetermined view.
The information within the Wikileaks dumps arent really a conspiracy. The FBI dumps coming out now are not conspiracy. The pay to play in the Clinton Foundation is not conspiracy. The DNC and Clinton screwing over Sanders is now solidified fact as well.
I also beg to differ that the world is socially better. Peoples heads are being chopped off. An endless war rages on and on. We have the worst racial tension America has seen in 40 years, and the progressive presidential choice gets donations from the Saudis in one hand while they fund terrorism in the other (todays wikileaks dump). I guess thats as progressive as it gets!

Marildi, why are most members of the church of Scientology in the US Trump supporters do you think?
One thing I heard is that they are against Hillary because she is in favor of mental health care along with physical – which they conclude means she is “for the psychs.”
I would imagine that objection, and whatever other propaganda, is coming down the lines from the top. But I suspect the real reason for wanting Trump is that he is very far right in his world view (leaning towards fascism) and DM probably resonates with that.
Btw, I think both Trump and DM are the Enneagram Personality Type Eight. Like all Enneagram Types, at the healthy levels at top of the scale a Type Eight has wonderful traits and abilities – but when they sink to the unhealthy levels (or start out in life at that level) they can even be psychopaths. Marty Rathbun stated one time that DM was not too bad to work with in the early years with him, but that he (DM) ended up as a psychopath.

But why the dominance of right wing extremists in the church? Is it because the church attracts them, or is it because they move to the right in the church?
As I say, it comes from Miscavige, and before him LRH had become very “us vs. them” as a result of the decades-long concerted efforts of various government and private agencies, all of which wanted to shut down Scientology.
This is data that can be found in the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) files. LRH was not just being paranoid – there really was a conspiracy to stop him. That is probably another thing the church likes about Trump – his conspiracy theories, since there had really been a conspiracy against the church and not just a “theory” about it. In PT, I think Trump it’s too radical to talk about conspiracies, but I do think there is a lot of “politics” going on – in both parties.

Did I investigate? Just to the degree that I’ve read what Marty Rathbun reported in his Memoirs book. Marty saw first hand the documents that the GO had stolen from the offices of the various government and private agencies. And it was in their own words that a conspiracy to shut down Scientology was spelled out. Have you read his book – *Memoirs of a Scientology Warrior*? Or done any investigation otherwise?
Well…I’m not Scientologist, but I’m a fiercely Republican supporter. I said Republican, not Donald Trump. I don’t even consider Trump a republican, he’s just a clown. Ted Cruz was my choice. But I wish GOP to win the Senate, for not allowing Killary Clinton to have too much power in her hands (Attorney General, CIA and FBI Directors, etc).

I think Hillary has been, for the most part, the victim of black propaganda. The recent email flap, which turned out to be much ado about nothing, was a good example. Not that she isn’t guilty of playing the “politics” games – just as all of them are – but it seems to me that this is basically unavoidable in American politics at this time, although I think it is destined to change. Anyway, I’d say a lot of people might be surprised at what a good president she turns out to be. 😉

they have voted for him because those who’ve are on the same level of thinking-believes as that man. birds of the feather… garbage no matter how you look at is just garbage even if packaged into a billion dollar wrapping … the number of votes showed what general state of mind on average American is in.

I think we would be taking a big risk with Trump as President. According to the tone scale, he fits in at 1.5 (although he may not have as much horsepower as some historical 1.5’s to carry out his political philosophy to such extreme lengths). Per Hubbard, here’s the 1.5 politically:

I think it is mostly indirect evidence and use of mock-ups (creative processing).
It is a knowledge that resulted after years of looking at everything available, like various new age ideas, Scientology ideas, conspiracy theories, some politics, religions, movies, even some science.
I am honest, i won’t lie that i have solid scientific evidence. I operate with ideas like a philosopher, thinker, observer, creative processor..
But i will try to show what “logics” i am using. 🙂 (answers both for Marildi and Geir)
For example just this Donald VS Hilary whole thing, they are both unfit for president, are they really the best USA can get? Or somebody behind just picked them because they would be great puppets. Easy to control, easy to carry the bigger plans through them. You may think “it’s just greedy and stupid people”, but i see it differently, often people would make the right thing, but some other force is pushing toward different direction.
Then thing with technology, it is increasing rapidly, as if the guys behind are catalyzing it, pushing it because this whole planet is a big important project. Especially military technology which does not make any sense, because it only can destroy the planet.
But behold what Ken (Pilot) discovered, this whole solar system is in a sideway bubble and whenver the world is destroyed (happened many times) the “shadow rulers” rewind the time back around 10 years, then change stuff and the destruction is avoided. This may seem totally unbelievable and unnaceptable to you but that is fine. One should not accept any evidence that seems unreal and does not connect. And i am very surprised that over many years nobody gives a shit about Pilot’s discoveries.
One other thing i can think up now, is the way newborns are distributed on this planet, the “new captured thetans” are mostly pushed into poor countries in Africa, Asia, and Brasil. Because t is easier to control them that way. Why all the advanced countries modernized one or two children per family. It is harder to control educated and more satisfied thetans.
Evidence of how they can change the temperature of whole planet? Sorry i do not have any. I am using the logic that they are using very much advanced technology and can do plenty of stuff that we did not even think up in science-fiction. Ten years ago i would never think that 3D printing is possible. Hundred years ago nobody could imagine a computer.
There are dozen more logics. I may recall them later, but for now this is enough.
In case i am dead wrong, then it does not really matter. If we are on our own, Earthlings, i am sure whatever happens it can’t be that bad, even if we nuke each other, we will just float to other nearby planets available and reincarnate there, probably they are much saner, disciplined but also more controlled.
Maybe there’s not much real evidence now, but keep this in mind for future, there may be more solid evidence, the controllers may become sloppy because as people become more focused on computers and become dependent on technology, and their perceptions weakened.
Just keep this in mind in case it is at least half true.
And if you are curious what is their purpose for this planet, it is to increase everybodys morale for battle, so that we eventually become suitable warriors for space battles that are occuring within current Invader eras. I suspect fifty to two hundred years from now we will be massively trained with super technology to become space warriors, probably going against the fifth invaders.

No, I do not “worship” any guru, including LRH. But I do believe in auditing – very much so. However, I think some of the other teachings include wisdom that the scientology philosophy and tech lack, and I don’t think the tech necessarily takes a person to full enlightenment. To me, enlightenment includes not just the ability to operate as a thetan (that is, OT to whatever degree) but wisdom of “this world” as well. Actually, LRH said that too, but I don’t think he had a workable path to that wisdom.
At the same time, scientology has wisdom and tech that other teachings don’t, and I believe other teachers could use both of these (the data and the tech) to help their followers do better in life – as well as to help them handle the “shadows” or “ego” or whatever description they have for the barriers to enlightenment. I’ve commented on this more than once, here on Geir’s and on other blogs. I guess you weren’t paying attention. 🙂

Fine, you wear whatever armor you want. But maybe the OTs will be able to escape the battle. Fighting is a waste of time, probably normal space citizens have no morale for battles. That is why they put us here to this isolated planet and make us hostile and angry, frustrated here. They push our desire to fight.

When Trump was running I was thinking along the same lines. I sort of wanted him to win just because he is insane. America seems to need a swift kick in the ass.
The way we run the educational system, medical system and social security are good examples of how not to do it.
Ask an American about “Socialized” anything and a good percentage of people still spout McCarthy era hatred, even when you press them and ask “What is socialism?” and they can’t answer. And don’t let them know that America already has thousands of social systems. Fire departments for example.
I am an ex-scientologist and I’m an ex-pat living in a country with socialized health care (thank god). I listen to conspiracy theories for entertainment. Alex Jones for example, how many of his theories have been checked and found so full of shit that any other broadcaster would have folded up shop in embarrassment? Yet, Trump is a fan of his show!
One thing I find truly fascinating is the correlation between L Ron Hubbard’s grandiose narcissistic meanderings and generalities in his lectures, interviews and books to Trump. LRH obviously had a better grasp of the vernacular, but they are both con men. I’m currently reading Bare Faced Messiah and can’t help but think how this type of manipulation of groups applies.

Good comment. With the recent revelations about Trumps Russian connections and the Russian involvement in the election via hacking – I can see how this could lead to the most embarrasing times in US history. We could see a monumental fall of a US president.

You cannot compare Richard Nixon with Donald Trump. Nixon was a great President who faced terrible times, Trump is just a clown.

Another reason not to knock apes dragos; they haven’t YET been “fortunate’ (?) enough, to have developed an insidious, but (deliberately ignored) ‘flaw’. largely ‘responsible’ for human perpetrated decimation of entire planetary ecosystems, habitats and therefore vulnerable life forms, balance in bio diversity, (via dangerous micro wave emissions) and unprecedented environmental destruction of formerly symbiotic structures of our fellow earthlings.
Yes, dragos, it may (indeed does!) fly in the face of our current value system/s, but I believe that our joint (all earthlings) entitlement to survive in ‘contentment’ within our respective habitats, depends entirely upon our discovery of that fatal ‘flaw’ rampant in our current ‘progressive’ human make up ………. “I WANT!!!”… and then to act with urgency … in modifying this lifestyle construct which we have now come to believe, is indispensable.
In short, I don’t believe we have any need to fear apes participation in our habitat at all, but rather to look at our own oblivious emulation of lemmings headed toward mass suicide over a cliff, while we UNQUESTIONINGLY obey the command from the newly worshipped God On High ——— ” THOU SHALL WANT”
Indeed, is there any workable life formula in existence, that does not include “balance?” — just asking.

Pertinent to the above blog post and the comments on this thread, here’s a quote from Daniel Kahneman’s book *Thinking, Fast and Slow*:
“An availability cascade is a self-sustaining chain of events, which may start from media reports or a relatively minor event and lead up to public panic and large-scale government action.”
A recent article by Ken Urquhart essentially describes how to set into motion what could also be called an “availability cascade” – but this one is positive, not negative, and rests on the principle that we all create reality together, whether in a practical sense or a spiritual sense, or both.
Whichever way we want to look at it, Ken makes a great case for how the cascade he describes “will enable an unstoppable world-wide energy,”

For those that don’t know who Ken Urquhart is, he’s a former Scientologist who worked closely with L. Ron Hubbard for a number of years, first as “butler” and head of his household at Saint Hill in the early-to-late ‘60s. In the ‘70s, he was the LRH Communicator on the Apollo and then became the LRH Personal Communicator, which was the principal executive aide of LRH, until 1978. After that, he continued his tech training and became a Class IX NOTs auditor at Flag. In 1982, he routed out of the Sea Org because of fundamental disagreements with how the group had changed. He then became an independent auditor for a number of years, mostly delivering OT levels, starting out as an auditor with David Mayo’s group until it disbanded. He is basically retired from auditing now.
Ken started his new blog just recently, and most of the above data I read on one of his earlier blog posts (the one about his Scientology career). The main reason I’m relaying this bio data is that he does refer to Scientology at the end of the blog post linked in the above comment, and I think the bio data indicates that Ken is pretty highly qualified as a reliable source on the subjects of LRH and Scientology. He has had quite a bit of experience in both tech and admin/management, and not only knew LRH but was friends with him, although they did have a falling out at a certain point in time.
Ken has put out several blog posts so far, and they are all excellent, but the most recent one, described above, really blew me away, and that’s the one I especially hope you’ll all read. (Especially you, Geir, as you are an opinion leader too.)
