Touching your heart, your soul, your life
His inquiring eyes exploring yours
Taking hold of your breath, your self
The gentle feeling of a teardrop, but of course
He is new to this world, to yours
Which will never be the same again
Your futures will forever run a different course
When you end yours and his goes on – this will be then
Sad in a way as the moment evaporates
But most precious as you fully grasp
The richness of emotions, value, of what it creates
The change, the love, flowing past
A new heir?
Not yet, just remembering the first moments with my three boys π
“Not yet”. You’re going for the girl now?
Beautiful poem, by the way.
Very touching…who’s poem is this?
Mine
Really????? Not only a good command in English, but a good command in expressing feelings π
Thanks π
Thanks for that, Geir, very evocative π
Where’s the “like” button?
Actually, this needs a “love” button. π
You’re cute
We always knew you were more than just another pretty face. π
*blush*
Pretty and pink. π
Excellent poem or prose. It brought back a glimpse of a love I had and still have, tho in another way. Beautiful, thank you! π
I was sure I knew the author, and turns out I do!!
