MERRY CHRISTMAS

I wish you all a Merry Christmas. May you have a wonderful holiday together with those you love. Take care of yourself, your family and the love you share.

Thank you all for keeping me company on this blog. I appreciate your company and your contributions – from the straight and rationals to the quirky and strange. You are all unique human beings that deserve the best in life.

And thanks to all the readers.

I am a man of conciseness. So I leave it at that. For now.

Love,

Geir

      1. Hi Dee,
Thanks for the love you are sharing…..thanks for having played the “games” I invited you and others to play….more to come….in the meantime a little music for each of us…….

  1. Geir,
” I am a man of conciseness. So I leave it like that. For now.”
Great! And what about this NOW? Remember the first comment on Loss, learning and gain by
Brian….if you don’t, read it. Party time…..? Now, now, now…………and music?

  2. Thanks, Geir. 🙂
I wish you too a merry Xmas! 🙂
One question: Is it ok that I use your name in a post I have regarding the 10 most influential persons on earth today?
    Have a magic touch!

      1. Right…what “remains” is the no-thing that has never “gone” anywhere…and doesn’t even “exist”….and yet, can be “felt” between two Planck sec. What’s that? In the East it’s called THAT. A kind of pure energy…..it’s in the “spirit” of Christmas….

  3. The same for you and Anette! Merry Christmas to all of you, people on this blog too. I’m more than honoured to be here, it’s a fantastic place, I simply love everything on this blog. Merry Christmas! everybody!

    1. Dragos, you are always so theta. And by now I’m sure you know what that means, but here is the appropriate definition:

“reason, serenity, stability, happiness, cheerful emotion, persistence and the other factors which man ordinarily considers desirable” (“Theta” is Greek for thought or life or the spirit.)

      Have a Merry Christmas! 🙂

      1. Marildi my dear, thank you so much for your nice words. I’m familiar with Greek alphabet, my religion is Greek Orthodoxy (but I’m not Greek, I’m Romanian). Merry Christmas to you too, the same for all your family and beloved ones!

  4. Geir, Merry Christmas to you and yours!

And the heartfelt same to all who read and post here. 🙂

  5. Geir & All,

Geir – thanks for putting up this blog – it has been enlightening & a great outlet for free-thinkers.

Merry Christmas to all … looking forward to a great 2013!

    Dennis

    1. Dennis, what a nice holiday surprise! We haven’t heard from you in a while and I’ve missed you. Merry Christmas! 🙂

      1. Same to you Sweetie!

I hope you have an amazing Christmas and a super New Year.

I hope you can pop up here sometime … it would be fun.

        Dennis

        1. Ah, Dennis, you are always so welcoming! I think I told you I grew up in Seattle, my dad was Canadian from Vancouver, and there are a couple other Scientologists I know who live near Vancouver, so I have “theta lines” to your area and you never know… Maybe we will all “pop in” on you and your wife one day. That would be so cool! 🙂

          1. Same to you, Chris

A great bunch of people here – always interesting and provoking.

It’s a thrill to have one’s own viewpoints challenged all with the intention of expanding one’s horizons.

Thanks for all of your posts over the many, many months.

I thoroughly enjoy each & every post.

Do well, and, I hope to see you and others up here sometime!

            Dennis

  6. Merry Christmas Geir and to those who are close to you. May joy be yours to share. Love and Peace.

Happy Holidays to Everyone here! 🙂
    Dee

  7. Merry Christmas Geir and Everyone. It has been a beautiful and fruitful year. Many thanks to you and everyone working so hard to bare their minds and deepest felt opinions on life and the meaning of existence. You are all blessing my life in plenty and I hope that I am returning in kind.

    1. Lovely comment, Chris. That’s what I call ARC! 😉 I’m sending you the same flow in return. 🙂

      1. Joining you, Chris, Marildi thanks for this pure flow! Letting it flow to each of YOU!
        Love
        marianne

        1. Marianne, I’m so pleased that you picked up the flow. And thank you for the return! 🙂

      2. Thank you Marildi! You are tops! Merry Christmas today and everyday!

The tree is all set up so it will be fun for the kids. My oldest son came home a few hours ago so he can wake up with his younger siblings on Christmas morn. Yesterday morning, I took off a couple hours from working on the house to go out with Graham and Nolan, my two youngest boys, to get “Christmas haircuts.” Then we got breakfast. My youngest son asked “Is this Christmas eve?. . . It is? . . . Great!” Graham and I laughed with and at him and I was happy that we try to make every day important so that Christmas is fun but not a stomach-churning pinnacle of the year.

I watched two movies this week, both the 1951 original and the new version of “The Day the Earth Stood Still.” I was taken with Klaatu’s accusation to humans that, “You treat the Earth like you treat each other.” I felt shamed by that comment and could see that he is right. I am determined to try to do better this new year. Peace!

        1. Thank you for sharing it, Chris! Near (intimate)……simpler and simpler…..the beauty of the creation of the moment….sending back your warmth….

        2. Chris, thank you for your Christmas spirit! I’ve seen it pop out many, many times during the year too – I should say during these “years” I’ve known you now. So I know it’s your true heart. 🙂

And thanks for the wonderful “Christmas letter” about the family. Peace and love to you and yours!

  8. I’d love to wish everybody a happy Yule, but somehow most people celebrate Christmas. Me too, unfortunately. I’m forced by my wife.

    1. Val,

Thanks for all the posts – always intriguing and thoroughly interesting – love it!

The best to you in 2013!

      Dennis

  9. Hi Brendan,
Sending Love to You and your family! Keep pushing Geir just softly to write posts a little more frequently so that we can play more, which means more fun and more joy! And YOU
join here more often too!!! Are you joining us at the Life thread? There’s a party there!
    Bring some music/game you like?

    1. Hei Marianne!

  10. – The friends I have Never Met –
    My online friends

Its strange to have friends that you have never met,
Hugged, shook hand’s with or looked in their eyes.
But you have been touched by their soul
Seen the good in their hearts and felt the
    warmth of their being.

The friends I have never met
    Are not my friends untouched,
For I have felt them with me when I needed them.
I have confided in them and they are some of the
kindest people I have ever known.

The friendships we make here.. are very special.
We can pour out our hearts to someone we have befriended….
Then we could walk by them in the street …
    and not recognize them…

But the spiritual connection…soul to soul
And the heart to heart felt empathy…..
Are as real to us in it’s own reality…
As knowing someone face to face.

    Thank you!

  11. Thank you Maria ! I have just finished reading your comment on the Hunch and the Key thread
where you are writing about an occuring change, caused by a “surge”….beautiful comment, as well as this poem…..yes, there is the “felt sense” of a kind of pure energy…..kind of “evolution” started….as in the poem, we may not recognize each other in the street…BUT !…..will see….
we, who are meeting here are sure on it…..
Thank you Maria! Beautiful, just beautiful!
